IT TAKES A SOCIETY
Canada-wide CCS campaign that rallies Canadians to join in the fight against cancer and make an impact.
CHALLENGE
Donors have begun favouring small and local charities, where they feel they can make more of an impact. But when it comes to issues as big as cancer, it takes all of us to propel research forward and support everyone from caretakers to cancer patients.
SOLUTION
We created a brand platform called IT TAKES A SOCIETY to show how a big organization like CCS can bring people together to take on the many sides of cancer. Our brand spot tells a deeply personal, yet universal story, which we shot on film to enhance the storytelling and create a cinematic feel. CCS brand yellow was sprinkled throughout the spot to tie society together. The result was 1.1 million earned impressions, 28% increase in brand awareness and 20% increase in quarterly revenue.
